Literasi Keuangan Digital: Basis Studi Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Jarak Jauh dan Terbuka
Abstrak
Perkembangan teknologi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat hampir di semua lini kehidupan tak terkecuali di dunia pendidikan. Akan tetapi fakta ini berbanding terbalik dengan literasi keuangan digital yang seharusnya tinggi melainkan masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara mendalam tingkat literasi keuangan digital yang mahasiswa dengan tipikal mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Jarak dan Terbuka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan metode kuesioner. Sebanyak 121 mahasiswa dari Universitas Terbuka menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki pemahaman yang baik dan sangat baik terhadap pengetahuan dasar dan risiko pengelolaan keuangan. Namun, pengetahuan responden terhadap penerapan penyedia layanan dan produk keuangan digital masih dalam tataran hanya rata-rata. Keadaan tersebut dikarenakan mahasiswa masih belum memanfaatkan internet dan media sosial secara maksimal dalam mencari informasi mengenai layanan dan produk keuangan.
