Pendampingan Pembuatan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) untuk UMKM di Desa Karanganyar
Abstrak
The mentoring initiative designed to secure Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within Karanganyar Village was carried out with the goal of enhancing knowledge about business licensing and promoting the official registration of local businesses. The underlying cause for this undertaking stemmed from the inadequate awareness among MSME proprietors concerning the advantages of possessing an NIB, alongside worries about possible tax responsibilities that were viewed as onerous. The intention of the program was to deliver learning opportunities, community outreach, and hands-on support during the NIB registration procedure utilizing the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform. A collaborative strategy was employed, encompassing surveys, guidance meetings, open dialogues, and immediate support offered to a group of six carefully chosen MSMEs. The outcomes indicated that five out of the six participating MSMEs consented to initiate their NIB applications upon gaining comprehensive insights and hands-on assistance from the mentorship group, whereas one MSME declined participation citing unease with official processes. The analysis emphasizes that customized, direct counseling, coupled with functional support regarding administrative tasks, plays a crucial role in boosting understanding and generating interest in attaining legitimate business standing. It is anticipated that this program will act as a model that can be copied to enable MSMEs by enhancing business licensing knowledge in different areas.
