Abstract
This study aims to analyze the condition of Islamic financing literacy among Generation Z halal-industry MSME actors and its role in business growth, as well as to formulate strategies for strengthening it. The study employs a qualitative descriptive library research method, with secondary data drawn from national academic journal articles, official reports of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and regulations related to MSMEs and Islamic banking, analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Indonesia's national sharia financial literacy index reached only 39.11 percent in 2024 and 43.42 percent in 2025, with young people including Generation Z still understanding sharia financial products mainly through labeling and religiosity rather than the technical mechanisms of contracts and financing.
